Under Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), we explain below how your personal data is processed on this website and in Krompa Assistant, the AI assistant on the site.

The data controller is Feyzi Demir, who operates this website and Krompa Paslanmaz Çelik (Krompa Stainless Steel). Identity and contact details are below and in the “How to apply” section.

Personal data we process

When you write to us through the contact form, or give details during the chat, the following can be processed: your name, phone number and e-mail address, your company name and city (as far as you give them), the content of your request (a summary of what you need) and the products in your quote list.

The messages you write in the chat (including any name, phone number or e-mail you type into them) are passed through Vercel to Google's AI service so that a reply can be written. The product page you are on and your quote list are added to that request.

The full conversation is not stored; the name and contact details you give in the chat, together with a summary of your needs and your quote list, are saved as a request so that the sales team can get back to you. While following up, the sales team may add its own notes, the amount discussed and the request's stage history to the record.

To protect the form and the assistant from abuse, the IP address a request comes from is processed for a short time to limit the number of messages.

Purpose of processing

Your personal data is processed to reply to your quotation or information request, to get back to you and to follow the request up. Your IP address is used only to limit abuse and excessive messaging.

How data is collected and the legal basis

Your data is collected electronically, from what you enter yourself, through the contact form on this website and the Krompa Assistant chat.

Legal basis: Article 5(2) of KVKK, point (c) (steps taken at your request before a contract is made) and point (f) (the controller's legitimate interest).

Who the data is shared with

To provide the service, your data is passed to the service providers below, for the purpose and with the data stated next to each. Some are used only if configured; this is stated on the relevant line.

These providers' servers are located abroad, so your data is transferred outside Türkiye.

• Vercel

  Purpose: Hosting the website: form and chat requests pass through Vercel's servers.

  Data passed: Everything you write in the contact form and the chat (because the request passes through this server), and the IP address the request comes from.

  Server location: Abroad

• Google

  Purpose: The AI model (Vertex) writes the chat replies; the request ledger (Google Sheets) holds the details saved as requests; the mailbox that receives contact-form e-mails is on Gmail.

  Data passed: To the model: the messages you write in the chat (including any name, phone or e-mail in them), the product page you are on and your quote list. In the ledger: your request record (name, e-mail, phone, company, city, summary of needs, quote list, the request's stage and the sales team's notes). In the Gmail mailbox: everything you write in the form.

  Server location: Abroad

• Resend

  Purpose: Sending the contact-form message on by e-mail; used only if Resend is the configured e-mail service.

  Data passed: All the form fields: name, e-mail, phone, subject, message; the site language.

  Server location: Abroad

• Web3Forms

  Purpose: If Web3Forms is configured instead of Resend, the contact-form message is sent on by e-mail through it; only one of the two services is used.

  Data passed: All the form fields: name, e-mail, phone, subject, message; the site language.

  Server location: Abroad

• Upstash

  Purpose: Only if configured: the request ledger (instead of Google Sheets) and the counter that limits message abuse.

  Data passed: If used as the ledger, your request record; as the counter, your IP address (as a short-lived counter key).

Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK you can apply to the data controller to: find out whether your personal data is processed; ask for information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties, at home or abroad, that your data is passed to; ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected; ask for your data to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions in the Law; ask for these actions to be notified to the third parties your data was passed to; object to a result against you that comes from analysis of your data solely by automated systems; and ask for compensation if you suffer harm because your data was processed unlawfully.
